Special Features

● We have received wonderful feedback from our most recent show (June, 2017) from both parents and professionals. Here is an example of just a couple of the kind words we received:

“I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!! on an amazing end-of-year show last was fantastic! It was such a privilege to watch all the students play their part and showcase their talents. It was the first time many of (student's) guests had seen her perform (especially dancing & singing!) and they were blown away by how amazing she was. It was clear to see how much work the students and yourselves have put it in.

Also, I wanted to say a huge personal thank you for everything you have done to support her through this first year. I have never seen her happier because she is learning and developing skills in something she truly loves to do. She has made lovely supportive friendships like never before and she is being taught and mentored by people who believe in her and inspire her. I am very grateful to you all.” Parent, 2017

“The commitment, enthusiasm and energy displayed by all in last night's performance was outstanding; a joy to watch and a credit to yourself, stage management and crew.

We were really impressed by the overall standard; really well executed dance routines, wonderful singing voices and a display of excellent comedy timing.

It’s hardly any wonder that the audience (including ourselves) warmed and greatly appreciated a well delivered, professional show. The performers gave their all!

We would like to take this opportunity in wishing all the performers, in last night’s showcase, every success in their future careers.

Best Wishes,

Course Format

This is a very practical course and although there is not a lot of written work, you will be required to write a Log Book, keep a diary and write essays.

The majority of your assessments will be through your performances, many of which will be to public audiences. Recent performance venues have included the main stage at the Royal Exchange Theatre, the main stage at the Trafford centre and of course, in our own beautiful 200 seat theatre with new professional sound and lighting equipment.

On successful completion of this qualification, many young people progress into Higher Education at Drama School or University, where they continue to train to become professional performers, or train as teachers or professional coaches.

Many young people move immediately into industry and can often be seen on stage and television.
