Course Content

The course covers the following units:

You will study the English Courts System; Legal Personnel (Lawyers, Judges, Magistrates and Juries); Sources of Law (Common Law and Statute Law); Slander and Libel, Criminal law (eg Theft, Robbery, Murder) ; Law of Torts (eg Medical Negligence) ; Family Law; Legal Aid and Funding; European Union Law

Your Unique Experience

The course is designed to cover a range of topics, providing you with the knowledge and skills required for a career or further study in Law. It can be a 1 year course (Certificate), or a 2 year course (Diploma)

More than just a Course

This course will take you through a variety of legal topics that will amaze and surprise you through some interesting case studies. You will visit the magistrates courts and see the legal system at work with the aim of giving you some ‘real life’ understanding of how the justice system works.
