Legal eagles sign up for Futures event

Budding legal eagles are signing up for a ‘careers in law’ event at Clarendon Sixth Form College.

The ‘Futures in Law’ careers event takes place on Wednesday 15th November at the Camp Street campus at 5pm.

The event is designed to encourage school leavers to think about the different jobs with the support of practising solicitors and barristers.  By talking about their own educational experience and career progression, legal specialists provide an insight into the opportunities in their sector.

Jennie Arnold, head of centre, Clarendon Sixth Form College, said: “The legal sector, in particular, offers different entry and progression routes to school and college leavers.  We are lucky to have such experienced and respected lawyers share their experience. We are really looking forward to the evening. These events always offer an illuminating perspective of the world of work and how successful careers are forged.”

Guest speakers for the event include: Rachael Frankland (Bromley’s Solicitors), Mark Hurst (Bromley’s Solicitors) and Rebecca Young (criminal law barrister),   the event starts at 5pm and finishes at 7pm.

Places are still available to school and college leavers.
